Job Summary

ByAllAccounts provides financial data aggregation software and services to the financial back-office market. This is an exciting time for the company as we are bringing new technology to the financial services market, our products are proven, our client list is expanding, and we are growing!

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the St. Sales Development Representative supports our Marketing and Sales teams and is chartered with qualifying sales opportunities which are generated through our acquisition marketing team, and are then transitioned to Sales to close. This is an outbound calling position, requiring 40 – 50 dials per day on warm leads, resulting in, on average, 8-10 conversations per day. 

At a high level, this individual must be able to demonstrate skill at interacting with different types of financial professionals, have fundamental sales skills appropriate for solution selling, and understand how to read different circumstances and alter selling skills appropriate to the situation. The ideal candidate will have a background in selling to financial advisors. As part of the interview process, all candidates will participate in a mock 5 – 10 minute lead qualification call.

Specific responsibilities for this key, customer-facing role include:

  • Qualifying and converting leads into opportunities through the use of a guided call-flow process

  • Engaging prospects in discussions, obtaining key information through the use of open-ended questioning techniques

  • Ensuring a seamless transition of sales-ready opportunities to the sales team

  • Developing repeatable call scripts and follow-up processes, using company guidelines

  • Collaborating with marketing colleagues to improve quality of leads received

  • Accurately entering, updating and maintaining information in SalesForce.com to manage prospects

Minimum requirements for this position include:

  • 3-5 years successful telemarketing or inside sales experience in a B2B technology or financial services firm supporting a sales team

  • Formal training in sales or telemarketing techniques

  • Prior experience with solutions selling preferably with financial services solutions or SaaS models

  • Demonstrated ability to uncover prospects’ area of pain, decision-makers, gate-keepers, and budget

  • Successful experience working in a small to mid-sized company atmosphere

  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, particularly phone skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Collaborative, team player, driven

Candidates will be required to pass criminal background and credit checks before hiring, as well as periodically thereafter.
